SONTALI ANCHALIK COLLEGE LIBRARY

The Central Library of Sontali Anchalik College is being considered as the heart of the College which was initiated since the inception of the college in 1987.It is the hub of the institution where faculty members , students and learners explore the realms knowledge available in the form of printed and virtual texts.It occupies the ground floor of the newly constructed RCC building measuring 3575 squire feet in huge hall with Stock room and reading room accommodations., the Magazine and Journal section, separate tables both for the students and the stuff.

The Central Library of Sontali Anchalik College has accesses to 8520 text and reference books , 6 magazines and 3 daily news papers.Every year the LibraryStaff has organized Orientation programme for the first semester students to lead them effectively utilization of library resources. During the working hours average 24 and 11 teaching faculties used to visit the library. The library has also the membership with INFLIBNET (N-List) for online journal that enable to access to electronic resources for its users.

The college library is undertaken ILMS software “KOHA” version in 2024 provided by LIBKART TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, Vetapara, Guahati, Assam and full automation has been under process and hence library activities are manually done.
